A board tool that's no longer maintained is a risk regardless of what it once did: no security patches, no support, and no guarantee your data stays reachable. If you still have an export, the job is to land it somewhere maintained, with a real audit trail and a price you can plan around.
Directorpoint's legacy pricing was per user, so a larger board cost more. Moving to flat pricing means adding your whole board and every committee without the number changing — often a saving on top of simply being on a supported product again.
