Boardable is a capable, well-reviewed board platform that publishes its prices — which is more than most of the category does. The catch is the pricing model: it's per user, so the healthy thing you're trying to do, recruiting more community leaders onto your board, raises your software bill.

Boardable's terms are explicit: "Everyone who has access is considered a User," and board members need seats. A 24-person board on Professional is $8,637 a year; the same board on a flat plan costs what a 9-person board costs. If your board is growing, the gap widens every year.
One Boardable customer reported their subscription "increased 20.5% year over year, though Boardable did not mention it." Cancellation requires 30 days' notice. Neither is disqualifying — but ask for a renewal cap in writing and note the cancellation date before you need it.
Export your board documents and minutes before renewal, and confirm your new tool imports them text-searchable. Boardable's guest model means some of your "users" may not need to migrate as seats at all.
